If you are going to be offering a gel nail service to your clients then you need to make sure you invest in some professional gel nail kits.  If you are using the correct products then it will be easier for you to get the perfect look.  You also need to make sure you are using quality products because the cheaper products are not always the best and you want to get a good name for yourself and your business.  The best way to do this is by offering a top quality service right from the beginning.

A good gel nail kit will consist of a basecoat or primer gel which will be applied first; a sealing or finishing gel which is applied to give a shiny finish; white and pink gels to give the French polish look; cuticle oils to soften the cuticle areas and a gel brush for applying the gels.  You will also need to invest in some good emery boards and a scissors and if your kit does not come with a UV lamp then you will need to get one of these.
